DIY Side Table Into French Tea Cart

• Drop leaf table
• 2 Wheels
• 2 curtain brackets
• 2 curtain finials
• Curtain rod
• Pipe strap
• Half inch galvanized pipe
• ½ inch flange
• Screws
• Paint
• Painters tape
• Paint brush
• Stencil

Directions:

1.    Cut off bottom of front 2 legs

2.    Attach wheels to half inch galvanized pipe

3.    Attach galvanized pipe to table legs using pipe strap

4.    On the opposite side of the wheels attach the 2 curtain brackets

5.    Take the curtain rod and attach the curtain finials and slide it through the curtain brackets.

Steps for painting stripes:

1.     To create antique wood look water down paint (1 part paint to 3 parts water)

2.     Paint area in one direction lightly with paint brush

3.     Leave lines with paint brush so it looks like a wood finish

4.     Let dry

5.     Once dry, place stencil on area you want painted

6.     Paint over stencil

7.     Let dry
