DIY Menu Board
- Frame with backing and glass removed (best option for repurposing an old frame)
- Cork
- Fabric
- Pins
- Clothing pins
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Wood letters
- (Something to make the pocket)
Directions for Erase Menu Board
1) Remove the backing of the frame behind the glass
2) Cut the fabric so that it is about and inch or so longer than the backing on all sides
3) Cover the backing with fabric by attaching the fabric with glue; it helps the cut the corners of the fabric so that they can be easily folded over without bunching
4) Place back into the frame behind the glass and secure shut
5) Use dry erase markers to write on the board
6) Attach wood letters to the front of the frame; optional
Directions to the Pin Men Board
1) Cut the cork so that it fits in the frame like a picture would
2) If using smaller cork pieces, glue them together and allow to dry
3) Cut the fabric so that it is about and inch or so longer than the cork on all sides
4) Cover the cork with fabric using the glue; it helps to cut the corners of the fabric so that when it folds over the corners of the cork board it won't bunch up
5) Glue onto the the back of the frame; this can also be done with a staple gun, or something similar
6) Glue the wood letter to the clothing pin and glue onto the from of the frame in order of the days of the week
