Materials
- T-shirt
- Lace
- Fabric glue
- Needle and thread
- Scissors
- Parchment paper
- Chalk
Step 1: Lay the shirt against your body and decide how short you want the shirt to be without the lace. Lay the shirt flat on a table.
Step 2: Take a piece of chalk and draw a straight line across the bottom.
Step 3: With your scissors cut the shirt
Step 4: take your lace and measure the diameter of the shirt by taking the length of the front side of the shirt and doubling it, leaving about 2 inches extra
Step 5: take your parchment paper and put it inside the shirt, (half inside half outside) this is to protect it from getting glue on the backside of the shirt
Step 6: then, take your glue and run a very thin line along the bottom of the shirt. And place the lace on top of the glue. Depending on the design of the lace, you can decide how far up from the bottom of the shirt you want it.
Step 7: Let the glue dry overnight (to be safe). Then either hand stitch or sew a long the rim of the shirt to hold the lace in place. This is just to secure the lace
