Directions
-Find a metal decoration that you would like to use. It can be a sign, a wall plaque, or even a coat hanger. You can cut the hooks off of the coat hanger.
-You can leave it as is, but if you choose to paint it, you’ll need to use a high heat paint. This will prevent any mishaps in melting or fire safety.
-Attach the decoration to your fireplace cover using bailing wire, or another low thermal conducting wire. (For instance, copper would be a bad wire to use because it heats up too easily.)
-Enjoy your cover in front of your cozy fire!
