Materials

  • Photo/Memory Book (anything w/ paper)
  • Card Stalk  
  • Ruler
  • X-acto Knife
  • Cutting mat
  • Pencils
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Scotch Tape
  • 3x5 Cards
  • Scissors
  • Glassine Envelopes (Slightly bigger than your index cards)
  • Markers
  • Photo Corners (optional)

Directions

1. Take paper from photo book and on one side of the paper draw a border all around the paper using a pencil (about 2”) -Measure and mark where you want to put the slits for the recipes.

2. Set paper on cutting matt and cut the slits through the paper using x-acto knife

3. Take Glassine envelopes and cut off top flap (this makes a pocket to hold recipes)

4. Connect glassine envelopes to each slit using double sided tape

5. Tape scotch tape over the top to ensure it stays in place

6. Repeat this step to however many slits you want to create

7. Take a piece of card stock and cut it to be slightly smaller than your pages

8. Attach card stock to back of page (where glassine envelopes are showing) using double sided tape

9. Tape photos to pages and add recipes
