A great summertime DIY for kids of any ages!

Materials

  • Circular headband
  • Thin Chains: Fine, thick, gold, silver, rose gold
  • Jump rings (for small chains only)
  • Beading pliers
  • Optional accessories: Beads, Feathers

STEPS

-Prepare your chains. Use about 30-35 chains, longest down the middle, tapering up around the sides. It’s up to you how long or short you’d like them to hang.

-Using the extra loose chain links or jump rings for small chains, attach one chain to each section of your plastic headband. Begin at the ends with the longest chains and work your way up knowing that you will clasp this at the back/base of the head where hair is the longest.

- Working from the ends up, stop just about at the temples or above the ears. Use as many chains as you like.
