DIY Dyed Wooden Spoons

  • Wooden Spoons
  • Dye
  • Long, Tall Container (like a flower vase)

Materials for a Dip Dyed Broom

  • Corn Fiber Hand Held Broom (or another natural fiber broom)
  • Dye
  • Large Bowl or Plastic Container
  • Long Metal Or Wooden Spoon

  • Woven basket
  • Dye
  • Large bowl or plastic container
  • Long metal or wooden spoon
Dip Dye: Three Ways - Home & Family

Directions for Dip Dye Wooden Spoons

1. Mix the dye in the bowl/container according to package instructions
2. Dip Spoon straight into the deep vase, this will prevent any uneven lines
3. Allow to dry completely
4. Gently rinse and allow to dry again

Directions for a Dip Dyed Broom

1. Mix the dye in the bowl/container according to package instruction
2. Dip the broom into the dye and allow it to sit for a good while; this can take at least an hour to really soak
3. Once the desired color is achieved, allow to dry completely
4. Rinse with water, and then allow to dry again

Directions for Dip Dyed Baskets

1. Mix the dye in the bowl/container according to package instruction
2. Dip the basket into the dye until the desired color is achieved
3. Allow to dry completely
4. Gently rinse and allow to dry again
