MATERIALS:
- 3 tablespoons Vermiculite
- 15 drops Peppermint essential oil
FRAGRANCE MIX MATERIALS:
- 3 tablespoons Vermiculite
- 15 drops Peppermint essential oil
The special ingredient in our potpourri is “VERMICULITE! It makes a perfect FIXITIVE, or “fragrance holder” to scent your potpourri. It is a key ingredient in both our traditional and our ENVELOPE potpourri.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix a blend of dried white flowers
- Add pine cones and nuts painted in gold and silver
- Top off and detail with dried red rose petals
- Use a total of 4 cups of dried material
TO CREATE FRAGRANCE MIX:
- Mix oil into vermiculite and add to flower mix
- Cover with plastic and set in a cupboard for a few days to allow fragrance to set for best results.
