Materials

  • Cake mix
  • Wafer sheets
  • Food coloring
  • Neutral oil
  • Paper towels
  • Tin Foil
  • Printout Ballerina

Steps

1) Bake the cake in a bowl

2) Ice the cake

3) Mix food coloring with oil (a neutral oil like grape seed, vegetable or canola)

4) Rip wafer paper into triangular pieces

5) Dab with paper towel dipped in food coloring mixture

6) Use a second color for added effect

7) Curl the edge around a wooden spoon

8) Spray with water to loosen it up and layer to the cake

9) Place on the cake in layers

10) Cut out topper of your choice

11) Add topper with a popsicle stick
