All-Natural Homemade Bug Repellents

Materials for All-Natural Homemade Bug Repellent Lotion

  • 1/3 cup of fractionated coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup raw extra virgin coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp beeswax
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 2 tbsp organic shea butter
  • Essential oils (lemon eucalyptus, citronella, geranium, cedarwood)
  • 8 oz mason jars

Materials for Homemade Itch Stick

  • 2 tbsp beeswax
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 10 drops lavender
  • 10 drops peppermint
  • Just a few drops tea tree oil
  • Funnel
  • Balm bottles
  • Use a funnel to pour into balm bottle
DIY Bug Repellents - Home & Family

Directions for All-Natural Homemade Bug Repellent Lotion

1. In a double boiler melt down your fractionated coconut oil, raw extra virgin coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil, and shea butter
2. Once melted take off heat & mix in your lemon eucalyptus, citronella, geranium, cedarwood essential oils. About 10 -15 drops of each
3. Finally pour into mason jar
4. Let cool a couple hours until it hardens into lotion form

Directions for Homemade Itch Stick

1. In a double boiler melt down your beeswax & coconut oil

2. Once melted take off heat & add about 10 drops of lavender, 10 drops of peppermint & a few drops of tea tree oil

3. Mix it thoroughly

4. Use a funnel & pour liquid into balm bottles

5. Let cool & apply to itchy area
