Chef Adam Gertler is in the kitchen getting you ready for Oktoberfest by grilling up an Oktoberwurst with homemade sauerkraut and chopped bacon. Adam recommends adding caraway seeds to the kraut to make it more authentic. He also suggests simmering anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour in order to thicken your kraut. When done, Adam suggests pairing the kraut with your favorite cooked bratwurst.
