HOW TO:
1) Gather as many friends and relations as you can handle making pancakes for and let breakfast fun begin.
TIP: Also makes a great brunch party activity, fab “breakfast for dinner party”, even a late-night supper.
STEPS
1) Mix up a big pitcher your favorite pancake batter mix before company arrives.
TIP: Over beating the batter results in tough pancakes.
2) Heat up the griddle on you stove or your best electric skillet.
TIP: When the bubbles appear on top it’s time to flip.
“Face fixins:” Set out a wide variety -
Maraschino cherries – halved and make sure they ate VERY WELL DRAINED OVERNIGHT IN THE FRIDGE
Canned sliced pineapple – whole and halved –
TIP – VERY, VERY WELL DRAINED OVERNIGHT IN THE FRIDGE
Canned pears and peaches - halved
VERY, VERY WELL DRAINED OVERNIGHT IN THE FRIDGE
Fresh cantaloupe and honeydew - cut into bite size pieces
Fresh strawberries – sliced
Crisp bacon and sausage links
TIP- Cook meat ahead of time
Chocolate chips
Whipped Cream in a can
Butter
TIP: melted butter is even better
Maple syrup
TIP: real maple syrup if you are a purist – otherwise the fake stuff will do just fine.
