Ty Simpkins Interview
Actor Ty Simpkins joins Mark and Cristina to talk about his highly anticipated movie “Jurassic World,” opening June 12th. He brings a thrilling clip from the movie for the audience to enjoy. The young actor spent two months on the shoot in Hawaii and discussed what it was like working with funny man, Chris Pratt, where the two bonded. This isn’t Ty’s first big movie, he co-starred alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the blockbuster “Iron Man 3.”
Lavash Pizza with Cauliflower and Brussels Sprouts SaladChef and owner of Malibu-Farms, Helene Henderson is in the Home & Family kitchen with Cristina to cook up pizza with a twist, using lavash. Helene grew up in Sweden and learned how to cook from her grandmother, who had her own restaurant when she was growing up. Helene lives by an old saying, “cook food your guests want to eat.”

Surgery to Save a Baby
Nick and Emily Birren sit down with Home & Family to talk about the time their baby daughter, Everly needed serious surgery. Everly was born without a giant portion of her esophagus and she required surgery to correct this. They are joined by pediatric surgeon, Russell Jennings on Skype, he explains the surgery that he had to perform. Today, Everly is thriving after her ground-breaking operation.

The Perfect Wedding Playlist
With Jason and Paige’s wedding getting closer, Jason joins wedding DJ Richard Blade to choose the perfect music playlist. Richard will be officiating the wedding and also helping out with the music. Richard points out that guests always remember if music is good or bad at a wedding. 80 songs will play for around four hours. He recommends adding some older songs, for the older generation of guests. Finally, he says speed things up with a song that starts slow and ends big!
