Nikki DeLoach

Actress Nikki DeLoach sits down with Home & Family to talk about her Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie, “Love Takes Flight,” which you can watch Saturday at 9/8c on Hallmark Channel. This is Nikki’s first Hallmark Hall of Fame movie and that makes her very excited to talk about how fun it was to film. She also talks about her special friendship with co-star, Barbara Niven and brings a clip from the movie for the audience!

Garlic Butter Chicken

Chef Toya Boudy is in the kitchen making garlic butter chicken and pairing the dish with parmesan cauliflower rice. Cook the chicken in butter, but you can also use avocado oil or sunflower oil. When you take the chicken off the pan, prepare your cauliflower rice in the pan, capturing the leftover flavors. To save time, she recommends using frozen cauliflower for your rice. When done, place the chicken on the rice and serve!

Lean Green Breakfast Chili

Health and fitness expert Chalene Johnson is in the kitchen making a nutritious lean green breakfast chili. The recipe is from her book, “131 Method.” The dish was inspired by her husband’s chili recipe. You can also substitute the turkey out in favor of grass-fed beef or ground chicken. The best part about this chili is that it is low in fat and low in carbohydrates. When done, she tops it with sour cream and cilantro.

DIY Christmas Stars

Maria Provenzano is joined by Nikki DeLoach in the Christmas Corner to make DIY Christmas stars. Maria says she was inspired to make this DIY after watching Hallmark Channel’s “Reunited at Christmas,” which happens to star Nikki DeLoach. You can catch the movie on Friday, April 26th at 9/8c. Maria says you can find the wood beads online for your star, just make sure that each bead has a hole in it. When done, you can paint the wooden beads or leave them natural.
