Andrew Walker and Bethany Joy Lenz

Actor Andrew Walker and actress Bethany Joy Lenz sit down with Debbie and Cameron to talk about the premiere of their Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Bottled with Love,” which premieres Saturday, April 13th at 8/7c. The two share that they will be “hosting” the premiere and chatting with fans during the commercial breaks. Cheesy Mac and Rib Melt

Founder of The Grilled Cheese Truck Dave Dahni is in the kitchen making a tasty and hearty cheesy mac and rib melt. This sandwich has so many delicious ingredients, including mac and cheese, pulled pork, caramelized onions and butter mixed with mayonnaise. Because this is such a thick sandwich, you are going to need to grill it longer for it to cook all the way through.

Easter Basket: Three Ways

Maria Provenzano is getting ready for Easter by showing you how to make a variety of baskets. For an easy and quick basket, she adds silk flowers using hot glue. You can use as many flowers or as little as you want, depending on your design choice. The second basket, is a carrot basket, using styrofoam cones, orange twine and hot glue. Finally, she makes an Easter basket using a laundry basket using spray paint and pipe installation.

Milkshakes and Mug Cake

Celebrity fitness trainer Jorge Cruise is in the kitchen making two guilt-free desserts, milkshakes and a churro mug cake. He also talks about his book, “The Cruise Control Diet,” which breaks down intermittent fasting. He tells you to not be afraid of the fat, so when he is making the mug cake, he adds egg yolk and real butter. For an added sweetness, he puts a couple drops of stevia into the cake. As for the milkshake, it works as a great meal replacement for lunches and costs less than two dollars to make!

DIY Christmas Detour Signs

Ken Wingard is in the Christmas Corner making a decorative holiday sign. He was inspired by Hallmark Channel’s Original Movie, “A Christmas Detour,” which you can watch tonight at 8/7c. He recommends using a jigsaw to cut the sign to your desired shape. If you are going to use your sign inside, replace the plywood with foam core, which will be easier to cut.

Author Suzi Weiss-Fischmann visits Home & Family to talk about her book, “I’m Not Really a Waitress.” Suzi has been nicknamed the “First Lady of Nails,” and tells her story about escaping communist Hungary as a child. Later, she co-founded the wildly successful nail polish company, OPI. Making fun names for her nail polish helped create a demand for her products. She hopes people will take away from her book that they can be anybody they want, all they need is a dream.
