Why We Love Summer
Travel to an Exotic Location
Take on a new adventure and travel to a location that you’ve never experienced before. South Africa was the perfect backdrop for Kira to take a mini vacation from her hectic work life in Love on Safari starring Lacey Chabert, Jon Cor and Brittany Bristow.
Exercise Outdoors
Warm weather means you can take your daily workouts outdoors and try something new and fun like paddle boarding which Ava (Samantha MacGillivray) experienced on vacation with her mother, Jessica (Catherine Bell) in A Summer to Remember.
Curl Up with a Great Book
Pass the days with a good book that can take you exploring, have you fall in love, or solve a murder mystery. In Pearl in Paradise, Alex (Jill Wagner) takes a break from searching for the pearl for an afternoon reading on the beach. Have you made your summer reading list yet?
Throw a BBQ
Season the meat and dust off the grill, because nothing says summertime like a great BBQ with friends and family. In Season for Love, Tyler (Autumn Reeser) and Corey (Marc Blucas) reconnect during a BBQ competition which they are both involved in.
Go Surfing
Take up the waves or better yet if you find yourself on a cruise like Tony (Carlos PenaVega) is in Love at Sea, and you have never surfed before, try out the FlowRider Surf Simulator to help perfect your skills before hitting the ocean!
Fresh Flowers
April showers bring May flowers, and who doesn’t love flowers? A fresh bouquet can surely brighten up any gloomy day. If only we could be as lucky as Frankie (Rachael Leigh Cook) in Summer in the Vineyard and own a vineyard that also happens to grow beautiful flowers!
Go on a Hike
Too much fun in the sun? Grab your sneakers and head off on a hike, explore the great outdoors, do a little bird watching, or find the perfect waterfall. The possibilities are endless! In Sun, Sand and Romance, Kate (Tricia Helfer) vacations at a resort with her boyfriend but ends up spending a lot of time with an old friend Shep (Paul Campbell), who now works at the resort. As the resort’s activity director he makes it his mission for Kate to try everything the resort has to offer, including a guided hike!
Relaxing in the Pool
On that perfect warm summer day, there is nothing better than taking a dip in the pool. If you don’t feel like swimming around, get out your favorite float and let it do all the work. Kick back and relax like Matthew (Victor Webster) in Summer Villa. After working nonstop in his kitchen making delicious meals, a dip in the pool is just what the doctor ordered to relax and rest up.
Dine Al Fresco
A nice cool evening is the perfect backdrop to take your meal outside the kitchen and dine in the great outdoors. In Summer Love, Maya (Rachael Leigh Cook) goes rock climbing and then is surprised with a meal outdoors.
Enjoy the Sunset on the Beach
Take a walk or get a blanket and sit on the beach to watch the sky light up as the sun sets on another perfect day! In Love at the Shore, Jenna (Amanda Righetti) is a single mom who rents a beach house with her son, and after a long day of writing in the house, she enjoys a moment of peace outside watching the sunset.
