Victor Webster was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and his family moved to California when he was 13. He was interested in acting from a very early age and started his career starring on an NBC daytime series. He immediately followed that with a starring role on the Emmy Award-winning AMC Network series “The Lot” and then the number one nationally syndicated action series “Mutant X.” With this, Webster caught the attention of People Magazine and was named one of their “50 Most Eligible Bachelors.”
After that, Webster has had notable roles in several successful shows, like “Sex and the City,” “Castle,” “Bones,” “CSI,” “NCIS,” “Charmed,” “Criminal Minds,” “Melrose Place,” “Rio Heat” and “Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce” among others. He also brought to life Detective Carlos Fonegra, one of the lead characters in the SyFy show “Continuum.”
Since his theatrical film debut in 2003, he Webster been part of movies such as “Must Love Dogs,” “Surrogates” and “Why Did I Get Married Too?” One of his most recent film projects was alongside Steven Seagal in the action film “A Good Man” and the Syfy movie “Christmas Icetastrophe,” as wll as last year’s “Magic Stocking” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteriues. Since 2011 he has also starred as the Scorpion King in the third and fourth installments to the film franchise: “The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption” and “The Scorpion King 4:Quest for Power.”
Though Webster’s acting career has kept him busy he has never given up his love, and great talent, for martial arts. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has taught and competed in many forms of martial arts. Additionally, Webster holds an undefeated record as a heavyweight in both Tae Kwon Do competition and amateur kick boxing, and is also a multiple medal winner in the no gi jiu jitsu world championships.
