Actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth visits Home & Family to talk about her new movie, “My Little Pony,” which is currently in theaters. In the film, Kristin provides the voice of Princess Skystar. The performer has been staying very busy, she is also the voice of the mouse in the upcoming holiday movie, “The Star” and also shares that the Broadway hit that made her a star, “Wicked,” is being developed into a movie for 2019.
Potato Leek Agnolotti
Chef and owner of Union Restaurant Bruce Kalman is in the kitchen and today he is cooking potato leek agnolotti with a scrumptious walnut pesto. If you are not a fan of potatoes, you can always stuff your pasta with ricotta cheese, sweet potatoes or winter squash. One added tip is adding a touch of oil to prevent the brown butter from burning too quickly when being added.
Super Scooty
Larissa Wohl is joined by special needs rescue dog Super Scooty and his owners, Erica Loring and Alicia Palomino. Super Scooty first got his name when he was hit by a car in Mexico and then rescued at a Baja Dog Rescue. After trial and error, Erica and Alicia learned how to help Scooty and teach him to walk with a harness then with a wheelchair. The ladies now look at Scooty the Dog as a face of resilience and perseverance.
