Hanneke Talbot is a British/Canadian actress with a diverse and international upbringing.
She got her unusual name by being born in Holland, the third and youngest child of a Canadian/Irish father and a British mother. Talbot then spent most of her childhood in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, having also lived in the Netherlands, Australia and the UK.
Talbot’s passion for acting began at the tender age of five as she started performing at school and in local theatres. At 14, she also started modeling after becoming a finalist in the Elite Model Look Search and modeled for various fashion and beauty brands throughout her teens.
After graduating from a British International high school in Malaysia, Talbot moved to London, England to study at the highly acclaimed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), where she trained for three years, playing some of Shakespeare's great women such as Viola in Twelfth Night and Hermione in The Winter's Tale.
After graduating, Talbot set foot in Canada for the very first time in 2017. After having made the move from London to Toronto in 2018, she has since worked consistently for both American and Canadian productions across Canada. Recent credits include, “Star Trek: Discovery” (CBS), Ready or Not (Fox Searchlight), “Titans” (DC/Netflix), “iZombie” (CW/Netflix) and Rabid (Back 40 Pictures).
Talbot goes by “Hank” for short and loves to listen to audiobooks and watch cat videos on YouTube in her free time.
