About Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith
About Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith
Mitch Albom (Bradley Whitford) has a pretty great life. He lives in Detroit and is happily married, he's an award-winning sportswriter, a must-read newspaper columnist, a screenwriter, a radio and television broadcaster. Then two men come into his life, and he realizes something's missing. The two men are Rabbi Albert Lewis (Martin Landau), who presides over a thriving synagogue in a comfortable New Jersey suburb, and pastor Henry Covington (Laurence Fishburne), a recovering drug user and dealer, who preaches to the poor and homeless in a crumbling Detroit inner-city church. Moving between their worlds – Christian and Jewish, African-American and white, impoverished and privileged – Albom witnesses first-hand how these two very different men – the feisty, funny rabbi and the intrepid inner-city pastor -- not only live life, but celebrate life. What do rabbi and reverend have in common? Albom comes to realize they both take profound comfort in believing that there's a divine spark in all of us, and that one person – or in this case, two – can make a big difference in others' lives, as long as they have a little faith.

About The Christmas Choir
About The Christmas Choir
Peter Brockman (Jason Gedrick) is a successful-but-spiritually lost accountant whose life is turned on its head when he begins volunteering at a homeless shelter run by the caring-yet-cantankerous Sister Agatha (Rhea Perlman). Amazed at the musical prowess of some of the shelter’s occupants, Peter sets out to organize them into a choir, singing holiday tunes in a local subway station. Though the singers and Peter each go through their own difficult personal trials, they slowly begin to learn to trust in each other and the power their music holds. “The Christmas Choir” is inspired by the true story of a man volunteering at a homeless shelter who saw a way to help the men living there by creating a choir from their surprising musical talents. The group, which went on to record several albums and tour the world, experienced such success that the singers where able to gain the financial security and personal confidence to leave the streets forever. Starring Jason Gedrick and Rhea Perlman.

Aneela Zaman's Tips for Relationship Success
Dating is a discovery period. If you imagine that the idea of dating is about discovering other people and seeing how much you ‘click’ and whether you have enough going on to forge a relationship, this period is for you to learn about one another…even if what you learn is bad news. Contrary to popular opinion, the key thing that you will need to find out is whether you share common values this is what will take you from dating into a bonafide relationship. If you rely on sexual chemistry and common interests and forget to discover whether you share common values, you will find yourself being bemused as to why someone you ‘seem’ to get along with so well doesn’t translate into a relationship. Don’t start acting like you’re in a relationship when you’re are just dating. Slow your roll! You’re going too fast! If you do this, you will expect as if you’re in a relationship when you don’t actually know each other enough to be able to do this. You will make the other person nervy if you go into girlfriend or even ‘wifey’ mode when you’ve not established whether you’re in a relationship. Don’t assume the position! Remember to act like you’re worthy and in the same league. Do not put people on a pedestal because the only place for them to look at you is from above, which means you are beneath them.this creates a dangerous, imbalanced relationship that is difficult to recover from. Be careful of getting dazzled by someone and in awe of them as it may make you blind to the reality plus it puts undue pressure on them creating expectations that they cannot live up to.
