Jane Lynch Interview
The Emmy and Golden Globe winning actress visits with Mark and Cristina to take about her new film, “Mascots,” which is directed by Christopher Guest and arrives in theaters this summer. In the film, she plays former mascot, “Minnie the Moose” who had to retire after a devastating injury. Jane also has a passion for keeping the arts in schools and works closely with “Adopt the Arts” program which was co-founded by Guns N’ Roses’ drummer, Matt Sorum. The program adopts schools in need of art supplies and musical instruments and supplies donations. Lobster Grilled Cheese
The owner of “Slapfish” restaurants, Chef Andrew Gruel is in the kitchen making the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich with lobster and crab. He admits the inspiration behind this dish was his children, who started to eat more seafood when he paired it with grilled cheese. His tip is to spread mayo on the outer bread to make sure it gets golden brown as well as tasty.

“Hearts of Spring” Interview
Lisa Whelchel and her daughter Clancy Cauble open up about playing mother and daughter in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Hearts of Spring” which premieres April 9th, 9/8c The two even bring a clip for Home & Family to enjoy. Clancy admits that she has not yet seen the movie because it’s so hard watching herself on screen. Lisa also talks about how she came up with the storyline for “Hearts of Spring” after diving into her own world of blogging while raising her children. Lisa also opens up about her experience on “Survivor: Philippines” and describes what it was like coming up as the first runner-up in the competitive series.
Power Tool Workshop
Mark Steines is showing you how to use a jigsaw power tool the proper way with some clever tips. He advises you to avoid wearing jewelry or loose jewelry when operating this saw or any power tools. Always use goggles, mask, gloves and hand protection when operating a jigsaw. Replace your blade immediately if it starts to smoke. He reminds you to choose your blade based on the material you are cutting and to use a thinner blade for smaller details. Jane Lynch follows Mark’s instructions and is successful at slicing her own shape using the jigsaw.

Kym Douglas is introducing you to some helpful nail hacks to help you save some money. Tweexy is a little pot that keeps your nail polish bottle in place while painting your nails at home.
