- 1 can of tuna (drained)
- Al dente rigatoni (1 lb)
- Cloves of garlic (3)
- Olive oil (1 tbsp)
- 1 can tomatoes (28-oz)
- Capers (1 tsp)
- Chopped medley of olives (1/2 cup)
- Bay leaves
- Lemon peel
- Basil (bunched)
- Olive oil
- Salt, pepper, parsley and chopped fresh basil to taste
Directions
1. Sautee garlic and olive oil over medium heat
2. Add tomatoes, capers, olives, salt, pepper and basil
3. Simmer until sauce is thick, for about 10 minutes
4. Stir in drained tuna, then pasta.
5. Sprinkle with parsley
