Ingredients

Ingredients for Tropical Overnight Oats

  • 1/3 cup plain or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped mango
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed, optional

Ingredients for Savory Overnight Oats

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup cashew milk
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped scallions
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 avocado, sliced
  • 1 fried egg
  • Sriracha to taste
  • Sliced scallions for garnish (optional)

Tropical and Overnight Oats - Home & Family

Directions for Tropical Overnight Oats

1. Stir the ingredients together in a bowl until combined.
2. Spoon the oatmeal into a bowl or jar with tight fitting lids and refrigerate for at least 5 hours but best overnight.
3. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Directions for Savory Overnight Oats

1. Combine the oats, cashew milk, scallions and salt in a bowl. Place into a bowl or jar with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate overnight.
2. The oats can be easily heated in a microwave or small sauce pot. Pour the hot oats into a bowl and top with sliced avocado, fried egg and sriracha to taste.
