INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup (pure grade a organic)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cashew milk (or any plant milk)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips 70% or 72% cacao
  • 2 tbsps ground flax
  • 2tbsps ground chia
  • 2 cup almond flour (finely sifted preferred)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

BENEFICIAL BANANA BREAD DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and brush loaf pan with some oil to prevent sticking
  2. In a large bowl mash bananas. Stir in the olive oil, maple syrup, and milk. Mix well, then mix in ground flax or chia. Let stand 2 minutes
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sea salt, spice and chocolate chips
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until well combined
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean
  6. Let cool completely before slicing.
