Dashi & Ginger Dipping Sauce and Teriyaki Sauce/Glaze

Perfect sauces to dip your sushi into.

Ingredients for Dashi & Ginger Sauce

  • 1 C Dashi
  • 1/3 C Mirin
  • 1/3 C Soy Sauce
  • 2-3 tsp Ginger, finely grated

Ingredients for Teriyaki Sauce/Glaze

  • 1/3 C Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 C Mirin
  • 1/3 C Sake

Directions for Dashing & Ginger Sauce

1. Place the Dashi, Mirin & Soy in a small pot and warm gently (Do not boil)

2. Add the grated ginger, a teaspoon at a time, until the desired ginger flavor is achieved

Note: This is a good dipping sauce for Sushi.

Directions for Teriyaki Sauce/Glaze

1. Combine the Soy Sauce, Mirin & Sake in a bowl to use as a dipping sauce

2. For a glaze, combine the ingredients in a small pan & gently simmer until thickened. (Do not boil)
