INGREDIENTS:

SUSHI SANDWICHES INGREDIENTS:

  • Favorite sandwich bread
  • peanut butter + jelly
  • whipped cream cheese + pesto
  • shredded carrots + hummus
  • whipped cream cheese + tapenade
  • whipped cream cheese + ground cinnamon

MONOGRAM SANDWICH INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tablespoon whipped cream cheese
  • Dye free food coloring
  • 2 pieces sandwich bread

SKEWER SANDWICH INGREDIENTS:

  • Cooked bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Sliced turkey deli meat
  • Favorite bread

DIPPING SAUCES:

  • Mustard
  • Mayo
  • BBQBalsamic glaze

WATERMELON FRIES INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 watermelon

YOGURT DIPPING SAUCE:

  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons honey

SUSHI SANDWICHES DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using a rolling pin, roll out the sandwich bread to get it as thin as you can.
  2. Spread the piece of bread with your chosen fillings. Use the thicker or stickier filling first and then top with the thinner filling.
  3. Roll the bread up tightly and press on the seam to seal.
  4. Cut into sushi pieces.

MONOGRAM SANDWICH DIRECTIONS:

Prep Time: 5 minutes

  1. Place whipped cream cheese and desired amount of food coloring in a bowl and stir to achieve desired color.
  2. Spread one slice of the bread with the whipped cream cheese mixture.
  3. Use favorite letter cookie cutter to punch out shape on second piece of bread and place on top of the whipped cream cheese mixture.
  4. * Alternatively you can use sun butter, nut butter, hummus or other favorite sandwich spread.

SKEWER SANDWICH DIRECTIONS:

Prep Time: 5 minutes

You likely have all of these ingredients in your fridge and pantry already. You can send these to school as is, send a little mustard or mayo for dipping, or even drizzle with a balsamic glaze.

The club - bacon, lettuce, and tomato with your favorite sandwich bread. Then add some fresh avocado and deli turkey. Now you have yourself a club sandwich kabob.

  1. Tear or cut all ingredients into small pieces.
  2. Thread ingredients onto skewer.
  3. Put dipping sauce into little ramekin, serve next to skewer.

WATERMELON FRIES DIRECTION:

Prep Time: 5 minutes

  1. Cut the watermelon in half then into 1-inch half-moons.
  2. Remove the rind and cut into 3-inch sticks.
  3. Sprinkle with tajin if desired.

FOR THE YOGURT SAUCE:

  1. Mix ingredients until combined.
