“Facts of Life” Reunion
Charlotte Rae, Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields visit Home & Family to talk about their iconic sitcom that ran from 1979 to 1988 on NBC. Each of the actresses open up about memories from the show and how much they learned during the time “Facts of Life” was on air. Mindy Cohn sends in a video message praising Charlotte Rae for teaching her about the craft of acting. Former “Facts of Life” actors Molly Ringwald and George Clooney both send sweet and sentimental video messages to Charlotte, as well. Home & Family has one more surprise when Todd Bridges shows up and talks about his time with Charlotte when she was was on his on his sitcom, “Diff’rent Strokes.”
Mexican Cornbread
Lisa Whelchel is in the kitchen with Cristina preparing her recipe for Mexican Cornbread. But before they get started, a surprise guest Skypes in: Nancy McKeon! Nancy confesses that in real life, she stole the famous “Edna’s Edibles” sign from the “Facts of Life” set. Lisa and Nancy share that even though they were rivals on the show, in real life they became very good friends and still are to this day. Nancy also delivers a heartfelt thank you to Charlotte for being in her life and being such a wonderful role model to her throughout the years.

Charlotte Rae Interview
Charlotte sits down with Mark and Cristina one more time to open up about surviving pancreatic cancer. The actress had a family history of pancreatic cancer and admits that she kept delaying getting check-ups until it was almost too late. After extensive surgery and chemotherapy, Charlotte is proud to say she is six-years cancer free. After Charlotte’s interview, Gloria Loring performs the “Facts of Life” theme song in its entirety. A song that she co-wrote with her then husband, Alan Thicke.
