There are three different types:

RAISED BED:

A raised bed garden is great for lawns that have tough soil. Instead of breaking your back fixing it every day get raised bed frame.

  • 4X4 Redwood Planter, $130 at Garden Centers. Place your soil inside, a blend50% potting, 30$ compost, 20 % topsoil to help the soil stay perky and not deflate.

DIRT POT:

Put this on a palette, fill it with soil. It fits 100 gallons and allows you to start planting for under $25.

  • 100 Gallon Dirt Pot, $25 – 30, made from recycled materials.

POP UP / PORTABLE BED:

A pop up or portable bed is a great option under $25 that allows you to easily plant an herb garden. You can also place plants closer in good soil within the bed. Make sure to place it on a sturdy table.
