Patchwork Clothing with Ken Wingard

Under Patched Jeans:

  1. Cut fabric for patch and back of patch.
  2. Fuse these two together using an iron and interfacing.
  3. Hand stitch to the underside of the hole.
  4. Add embellishments using embroidery thread.

Over Patched Sweater:

  1. Cut patch from a thick non-raveling fabric - suede, felt, leather.
  2. Mend sweater with a needle and yarn if needed to stop any unraveling.
  3. Lay patch over hole and stitch on using decorative stitch.
