Mark & Cristina's DIY No-Sew Linen Curtains

Materials:

  • Linen fabric
  • Heat n’ bond adhesive or any other iron-on adhesive
  • Iron
  • Tape measure
  • Scissors
  • Curtain grommets
  • Curtain rod

Directions:

  1. Measured the height of your window (90 inches)
  2. Layed out the fabric and sized it perfectly – adding 4 inches on the top and the bottom, to account for the pleets.
  3. cut our fabric with scissors (98 inches).
  4. Fold the sides of our linen, 1 inch on each side.
  5. Iron to create pleet.
  6. Apply 'heat n bond' adhesive.
  7. re-iron.
  8. Fold the top of our linen, 4 inches on the top and bottom, respectively.
  9. apply the adhesive and iron.

Grommets (8 per curtain):
Grommets should be 2 inches from the sides and 4 inches apart

  1. Mark the center position of grommets across top of the curtain.
  2. Position grommet and trace slots.
  3. Cut out each hole.
  4. Apply your grommets in each hole, sandwiching together until it clicks.


*Iron Should Be On The Highest Setting For Fabric To Ensure Adhesive Sticks.
