Ken Wingard’s DIY Christmas House Lantern

Materials:

  • Large cardboard box
  • Xacto knife
  • Spray paint
  • Glitter
  • Wax paper
  • Poster board
  • Light
  • Assorted accessories for the yard

Directions:

  1. To create a foundation or a yard use a frame, mirror, or serving tray
  2. Measure and cut out doors & windows carefully!
  3. Add architectural details such as a gable, chimney, or dormer to your roof using poster board
  4. When painting & glittering, use complimentary colors & tones
  5. Total cost for Christmas house lantern: $15-20
