Ken Wingard gets you ready for Easter with this festive DIY.


  • 2, Boxwood wreaths (med. & large)
  • Wire coat hangers
  • Wire snips
  • Strong Fabric
  • Fabric glue
  • Large faux Hydrangea
  • Hanging hardware


1. Cut and bend ordinary coat hangers into bunny ear shapes

2. Trace ears on fabric and cut to shape, right sides together
(Use whatever fabric suits your theme; stiff linen or burlap work well)

3. Using fabric glue, fasten edges and turn right side out

4. Slip wire ears into fabric covers

5. Attach ears to wreath:
Twist wire, or left over coat hanger pieces around wreath frame or push ear stems into Styrofoam

6. Hang head first then position body directly underneath

7. Fasten a bow to the neck and a faux hydrangea bloom as the tail
