DIY Woven Denim Jacket - Home & Family
Steps
1) Decide what area you want to do technique on
2) Use ruler and chalk to draw lines horizontally about 1” apart
3) Repeat step going vertically, making a grid
4) Make small snips along grid lines
5) Go back with scissors to expand snips to desired length. Make sure to avoid cutting edges where lines intersect
6) Cut strips of excess denim material to the same width of your snips
7) Weave strips horizontally, alternating each starting point to create checkered pattern
8) Repeat vertically, skipping every other column -Snip off excess
9) Glue or sew ends in place
