Materials
- 4 x 8 Sheet of Plywood
- 2 Wooden planters
- Sand Bags
- Screws
- Screw gun (aka drill)
- 40x40 Boxwood Panels (4)
- Hot glue
- Staple gun
- Valentine’s Day décor (I chose lots of red, pink and blush colored flowers, a felt heart, a sign that spells out “love”, and a big “&” symbol)
- Poster board or card stock (I used poster board since it’s larger and allows for bigger letters to be cut out)
- Scissors
- Floral wire (or small gauge picture-hanging wire)
- Wire cutters
Steps
1) Nail wooden planters to the bottom of the 4x8 sheet of plywood so plywood stands
upright
2) Stick sandbags or anything heavy into the planters to keep the plywood from falling
over
3) Hot glue and/or staple the 40x40 boxwood panels to the plywood until completely
covered
4) Add any symbols, flowers, décor to your board using floral wire
5) Take your poster board and write any shape that you would like to cover in
flowers.
6) Cut out shape
7) Cover board in flowers using hot glue (the rest will be done in segment)
