DIY Tree of Life - Home & Family
Directions
1. Use a pencil to sketch the tree trunk and leaves on craft wood
2. Cut out the trunk and leaves using a jig saw
3. Sand down the sides and edges of trunk and leaves
4. Stain the trunk and leaves different shades of brown and green
5.Use a laser printer to print photos (print them flipped)
6. Apply acrylic gel medium to the stained leaf and press onto photo
7. Allow to dry for up to two hours
8. Cut out the excess paper from the leaf
9. Use a sponge and water to scrub away the paper and reveal the photo on the leaf
10. Hang the tree trunk with a picture hanger
11. Use removable poster strips to hang the leaves
