Materials
- 4 pieces of wood (2 1/2 x 2 1/2 feet)
- 1 piece of wood (22 3/8 x 23 3/4 inch)
- 2 pieces of wood (2 x4 cut to 22 3/8)
- measuring tape
- safety goggles
- wood glue
- nail gun
- drill
- paint
- glitter
- glitter foam sheets
- scissors
Directions
1. set aside four 2 ½ x 2 ½ pieces of wood
2. measure 8’ on one piece of wood and mark it
3. use a drill to attach one 2 x 4” piece of wood as the railing (have your local hardware store cut this down to 22 3/8 ‘)
4. repeat this on another piece of 2 ½ x 2 ½ piece of wood
5. use wood glue to hold the edges of 2 ½ x 2 ½ wood together
6. use nail gun to secure
7. repeat this until all four sides are connected
8. drop a 22 3/8 x 23 ¾ inch piece of wood on top and screw in
9. place the tree stand on top and screw into place
10. paint the block and add glitter
11. allow to dry
12. cut out the outline and letters using glitter foam sheets
13. place tree in tree stand
