DIY Tire Ottoman with Mark

Materials:

  • Old tire
  • Plywood
  • Glue gun/glue
  • Drill
  • Manila rope
  • Legs with sliders

Steps:

  1. Take sheet of plywood, cut 2 circles the size of the tire's inner hole. Attach circles to tire's opening with self drilling wood screws.
  2. Starting on outside edge of tire, glue rope with glue gun around, rolling the tire as you go. When the outside of the tire is covered, cut excess with a knife and glue end down.
  3. Lay tire flat and starting on top, glue rope down on outside edge and continue around until you end in the middle. Cut any excess rope.
  4. Screw legs into the bottom plywood on ottoman with drill. Add felt or sliders to protect your floor.

You can vary the pattern on top of the ottoman if you would like to add your own personal touch!
