Maria Provenzano is bringing you a Halloween DIY that adds a little chicness to your decor.

Materials

  • Gold studs; preferably ones with the spikes on the back, but flat are ok as well
  • Glue; a glue gun or super glue will work; you will need this if you get the spikes that do not have the spikes on the back
  • Black paint; acrylic craft paint or spray paint
  • Candlestick holders
  • Real or fake pumpkins
  • Chalk, optional

Directions

1) Paint the pumpkins black; if you are using acrylic craft, you will need to do multiple coats to cover the pumpkin, allowing it to dry completely between coats

2) Preplan your design for the studs, you can do this by marking the pumpkin with some chalk, since that can easily be wiped away

3) If using the studs with spikes in the back, simply stick the studs into the pumpkin as desired

4) If using studs with a flat back, place a dot of glue on the back of the stud, and place onto the pumpkin; hold in place until the glue dries completely
