DIY Pumpkin Topiary

Materials

  • Paper mache pumpkins (small, medium and large)
  • Decorate flute shaped topiary base
  • 2 Garlands of Fall leaves
  • Glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Any paints, embellishments
  • Blue painter’s tape

Directions

  1. Antique the base with paint, wise excess off with a cloth.
  2. Take the base and add your fall leaf garland around the edge, securing it with hot glue
  3. Take all three pumpkins and paint them and add any decorations you would like to use
  4. Set the pumpkins aside and let all three dry
  5. Using the hot glue gun, secure the bottom pumpkin to the topiary base
  6. On top of the first pumpkin, add your second fall leaf garland, securing it with hot glue. If the stem of the pumpkin sticks up to high, you can cut it off using a garden clipper
  7. Using hot glue, secure the bottom of the second pumpkin to the first pumpkin over the leaves
  8. Using hot glue, add additional fall leaf garland to the top of the 2nd pumpkin
  9. Using hot glue, secure the bottom of the third pumpkin to the second pumpkin over the leaves
  10. Add any additional embellishments that you would like to your topiary
  11. Set on your front door and voila! You have achieved a fall look that is one of a kind
