INSTRUCTIONS:
TO CREATE THE MITTEN UTENSIL HOLDERS
- Measure the utensils and draw out a mitten template on a piece of paper then cut it out. PRO TIP: You can print a template from online if you aren’t comfortable drawing.
- Trace the template onto felt, two mitten shapes for each utensil holder.
- Cut the felt mitten shapes out with fabric scissors.
- Glue each utensil holder together. Two felt mitten pieces glued together along the edges except along the top.
- To create the cuffs, cut two 1” tall rectangles that are slightly wider than the top of the mitten for each utensil holder in a contrasting color of felt.
- Glue the cuff of each mitten onto each side, make sure not to seal the top though!
- Allow the glue to dry.
- Place a set of utensils into each holder.
TO CREATE THE SNOWMAN CUPS
- Draw the snowman face onto each cup with puffy paint, black for the eyes and mouth. Orange for the carrot nose.
- Lay each cup on its back with the puff paint face up, so the paint dries without running. Wedge the cup in between something so it stays in place.
- Allow the paint to dry for 24 hours before you set the table.
Set the table with the utensil holders, snowman cups, and paper snowflakes underneath the plates to add a little magic. Enjoy!
