MATERIALS:
TO CREATE THE SNOWMAN CANDLE:
- White candle
- Plaid fabric
- Paint pens in black, orange, white and pink or red
- Small black buttons
- Fabric scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
TO CREATE THE REINDEER CANDLE:
- Brown candle
- Red pom-pom
- Twigs
- Brown cording
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
INSTRUCTIONS:
TO CREATE THE SNOWMAN CANDLE:
- Cut a strip of fabric for the scarf, cut slits into each end to create the fringe of the scarf.
- Tie the scarf around the candle and knot like a scarf.
- Draw the eyes and dots for the smile on in black.
- Add a highlight of white to the eyes. Draw a dot in each eye after the black paint dries.
- Draw the orange carrot nose on.
- Add some rosy cheeks to the sides of the smile with a pink or red paint pen.
- Glue the buttons on and enjoy!
TO CREATE THE REINDEER CANDLE:
- Glue the pom-pom nose to the center of the front of the candle.
- Go outside and grab some twigs.
- Create the antlers, group two to three small twigs together and wrap the cord around. Secure with hot glue. Repeat for the second antler.
- Glue an antler on each side and enjoy! PRO TIP: place the antlers so they angle outward from the candle, so they are far from the flame.
