DIY Halloween Graveyard Skeletons

Ken Wingard continues to get into the Halloween spirit with this festive DIY.

Materials

  • Inexpensive plastic skeletons from party store
  • ½ inch wooden dowels (2 3 ft. dowels per skeleton)
  • 1 package Model Magic Modeling Clay
  • Insulation foam
  • Wood Glue
  • Power Drill
  • Exacto Knife
  • Plywood square for base
  • Black spray paint
  • 2 packages wire
  • Styrofoam or plastic eye balls
  • Accessories – clothes, wigs, hats

Directions

1) Spray paint plywood black

2) Drill holes into wooden plywood base

3) Glue wooden dowels into base

4) Cut holes into plastic skeleton parts, slip over dowel

5) Assemble additional skeleton parts

6) Secure with insulation foam

7) Make hands with modeling clay – make separate joints for fingers by rolling and forming clay

8) Feed wire through clay to connect hand parts

9) Let clay dry

10) Remove plastic hands from store-bought skeleton, discard

11) Attach clay hands to skeleton arms

12) Attach skeleton head after gluing foam/plastic eyes to skeleton

13) Attach accessories: wig, hat, clothing
