Materials

  • Door
  • Circular saw
  • Hinges and brackets
  • Screws
  • Plywood
  • Locking mechanism
  • Chisel

Directions

1) Remove the door and door handles

2) Measure across the door for the cut point, marking 3/4 inch for the shelf

3) Cut across using a circular saw then cut the second to make space for the shelf

4) Measure 32 inches of plywood for the shelf

5) Using jigsaw, curve off the ends of the shelf to make opening clearance for the door

6) Attach shelf to bottom part of door, with screws

7) Make extra hinge space on the bottom part of the door

8) Hang door parts seperately
