Maria Provenzano is has a DIY that helps you save money using oven-baked clay.

Materials

  • oven bake clay in colors of choice
  • plastic drink stirrers
  • mini cookie cutters
  • baby powder
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • wax paper
  • super glue

Directions

1. Roll the clay in your hands until it is softer and easy to mold
2. If using the cookie cutters, roll the clay out thick by placing the clay between two sheets of wax paper; baby powder helps if the clay is sticking to the wax paper
3. Use the cookie cutter to cut out the desired shape; making sure the clay is about a 1/2 inch thick
4. Stick the drink stirrer into the bottom of the shape to leave an indentation and remove
5. Place the clay onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake according to package instructions
6. Allow to cool
7. Apply the glue to the drink stirrer and insert the stirrer back into the indentation that was made before baking
