MATERIALS:
- Ribbon
- Foam Board
- Ruler
- Brown Spray Paint
- Gray Paint
- Water
- Paint Brush
- Exterior Heavy Duty Double-Sided Tape
- X-ACTO Knife
- Poster Strips
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut ribbon to match the length of the window (use a color that matches window trim)
- Take your foam core and use an X-ACTO knife to cut it into several pieces
- Use a ruler and smash it into the edges of the foam board to give it a jagged
- look
- Paint the foam board using brown spray paint TIP: Use spray paint because it
- will eat away at the foam board and give it a distressed look
- Once the spray paint dries, coat the brown with a diluted gray paint
- Lay out your ribbon (use ribbon 2” thick) and use heavy duty exterior double-
- sided tape to attach the foam board slabs onto the ribbon
- Use poster strips to attach the ribbon to with window or door frame
