- X-Acto knife
Directions
1. Line up your belts in the color order you would like them to be on the chair
2. Cut the hardware off of the belts using floral shears
3. Place the belts that will lay horizontally down on the chair
4. Weave in the belts vertically
5. Check to make sure your belts have a tight weave
6. Use a heavy duty staple gun to and staple your belts into the wood
7. Repeat this on all sides, pulling the belts tight on the opposite side
8. Leave the front two corner belts loose
9. Flip chair upside down and hammer in the staples to make sure they are secure
10. Cut the excess belts and staple the inside to secure
11. Cute the two corner belts to the same length
12. Place a hole at the end of the belt with an X-Acto knife or awl
13. Place an upholstery pin through the hole and hammer into the chair
14. Repeat this on the other front of the leg of the chair
