TABLE RUNNER

MATERIALS

  • Small branches (sticks) (reserve some for vase)
  • White paint
  • Glitter if desired
  • White lace trim
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • Plain table runner
  • Lights

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Start with a plain table runner. Use white or green or red and create a wintery contrast with the white branches, or silver or gold for a frosty feel.
  2. Spray paint the branches
  3. Wrap in trim (you can add glitter if you want a winter sparkle effect). I’m using crocheted lace trim. Mrs. Johnson’s skirt had a fuzzy look so feel free to experiment with materials. Arrange the branches and inset, small tea lights or ropes of twinkle lights

CENTERPIECE

MATERIALS:

  • Small branches (sticks)
  • White paint
  • Glitter if desired
  • White lace trim
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • Clear vase
  • Silver balls
  • Pinecones etc.
  • Bow, holly (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using the same technique for the branches, we arranged the branches in a circular pattern around a large glass vase filled with the natural outdoor elements from your winter yard, branches, pinecones etc. And we added some silver balls to emphasize the sparkly winter effect. Add Christmas lights for a twinkle effect.

  1. Paint the branches
  2. Wrap branches in trim
  3. Add sparkles if desired
  4. Arrange around base
  5. Create a winter arrangement within the vase using branches, pinecones, silver balls etc.
  6. Add lights if desired.
