DIY Andy Warhol-Inspired Art - Home & Family

Directions

1- On a computer, choose your image. Make it black and white and boost the brightness and contrast to the full extent

2- Print two copies of that image. One as normal and the other as a "reversed" image

3- Paint entire canvas desired color and let dry

4-Cut out the main parts of the normal image (hair, mouth, eyes, etc...) and trace on to canvas

5-Paint the traced areas in desired colors and let dry

6-Mod Podge reversed image on top of canvas and allow dry

7-Use a sponge and water to wipe away paper and reveal finished image
