Fran Drescher Interview
The actress and activist Fran Drescher visits with Debbie and fill-in co-host Matt Iseman to talk about her organization, “Cancer Schmancer.” She opens up about her own battle with cancer and describes how she was inspired to start her own movement. Today, she works closely with teaching people to eat healthy and creating a living environment free of toxins. Her biggest advice about eating is if you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it. Today she is proud to say she is 16 years cancer-free.

The actress sits down with Debbie and Matt to talk about her new Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Pumpkin Pie Wars” which premieres Saturday, October 15th at 9/8c. She even brings a clip for the audience to enjoy. Julie describes how life was growing up as an immigrant from Argentina, moving to America when she was only 8 years old. This is Julie’s first election since becoming a citizen and she is very excited to vote. She encourages everybody watching to exercise their right and vote, too.

Debbie is in the kitchen celebrating the premiere of “Pumpkin Pie Wars” by baking s’mores pumpkin pie with the help of the movie’s star, Julie Gonzalo. She explains that when you mix the crust ingredients, it should have the consistency of wet sand. After baking the pie, you should refrigerate it overnight before eating.
