Bourbon Shrimp Boil - Home & Family

Bourbon Shrimp Boil

Host of “Southern and Hungry,” Damaris Phillips is in the kitchen cooking up a Cajun favorite, bourbon shrimp boil. She explains that when you are at a boil, put the ingredients that are most flavorful and take the longest to cook in the pot first, for example, onions and potatoes. After six minutes of those cooking, then add more ingredients like corn and sausage, then eventually the shrimp. The total cooking time should be around 20 minutes.
